Students react as 35 years old Babita Parmar conducts an activity session as part of the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy programme at a govt. girls school in Jamnagar, Ashta, Madhya Pradesh, India, November, 2023.
Babita says, "We don't do things the usual way – we've turned studying into a lively dance, literally! I use songs and dancing to make learning interactive and fun. Our classroom is like a musical adventure. The girls in my class love reading stories and singing songs, and that's how we tackle different subjects and topics. It's amazing how effortlessly they learn while enjoying every beat and step. One cool thing they've picked up is introducing themselves confidently in English. We're not just about textbooks; we're creating well-rounded individuals here. With a buzzing classroom full of students, I thrive in the lively atmosphere. I genuinely love being with my students, and they seem to enjoy it too. Laughter and the sounds of kids having fun fill our day, making learning not just a task but a daily celebration."
