This article shares a bird’s-eye view of financing mechanisms at the central level for the NIPUN Bharat Mission in India. It presents an in-depth analysis of funds allocated to states and union territories for FLN in the last three years (2021-24) and highlights several potential areas of change for financial provisioning for the Mission to meet FLN goals in a timely manner.
